John Graham is a former US diplomat. John worked as a diplomat for 15 years, where his assignments included revolutionary Libya, Viet Nam, NATO, the US Mission to the UN and a stint as foreign policy advisor to Senator John Glenn. Since 1983 he’s been a leader of the Giraffe Heroes Project, a global nonprofit moving people to stick their necks out for the common good—and giving them the tools to succeed. Graham has been part of major peace-building efforts in the Middle East and Africa. He now directs Giraffes Heroes International, helping citizens in poor countries solve difficult public problems such as poverty, violence, corruption and poor leadership. He is the author of Outdoor Leadership, It’s Up to Us, Stick Your Neck Out and On the Edge.
